4G LTE Cam S330 Fails to Detect Motion

If the 4G LTE Cam S330 fails to detect motion, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.

  1. Check if Motion Detection is enabled in your camera settings. (Devices tab > "..." Icon > Camera Settings > Motion Detection).
  2. Check the installation height.We recommend installing it at a height of 2.5 to 3 meters (8 to 10 feet). The table displays the relationship between the range of motion detection blind spots and motion detection areas at various heights. These ranges apply to motion directly in front of the camera. The detection range will decrease at side angles.

  1. Test Motion Detection in your app by going to Devices tab > "..." Icon > Camera Settings > Motion Detection.
  2. Turn up the sensitivity level of the camera. (Devices tab > "..." Icon > Camera Settings > Motion Detection).
  3. Check if Video Recording and Push Notifications are enabled in the security mode you have selected by going to Security > Home/Away > Home/Away Settings > Video Recording and Push Notifications.
  4. Remove the camera from your eufy Security app, then add it again.
