Why does S330 4G LTE Cam's battery discharge quickly, even though there are not many recordings in the recorded event list

There could be several reasons for this:

  • Stationary Vehicles: Please check if your camera's view is constantly capturing a parked car. When a car heats up in the sunlight, the change in temperature may trigger the Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor.
  • Dark Objects: Please check for large dark objects within your camera's view. Dark objects absorb heat, which can trigger the Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor.
  • Low Outdoor Temperature: Please check if the current outdoor temperature is below zero. If the temperature is below zero, it will affect the battery life and endurance, leading to a very fast power outage of the Cam.
  • Weak 4G signal: If the 4G signal is weak in the location where the camera is located, it may cause the device to continuously disconnect and reconnect, thereby consuming battery power and causing a decrease in its battery life.

To troubleshoot these issues, please adjust the placement of your camera, or temporarily remove the objects from the camera's view, and observe to see if the problem persists.
