Why did Entry Sensor fail to add?

Modified on Wed, 10 Dec at 11:23 AM

If you encounter this issue:

  1. Please make sure you have pressed the Entry Sensor SYNC button for at least 2 seconds until the LED is flashing white. If the LED is flashing red or is not bright, please try to replace the CR123A battery.

  2. Check if your HomeBase has internet access. The HomeBase LED should be white.

  3. Press the CYCLE button on the back of HomeBase to restart and then add the sensor again.

  4. Download the latest version of the eufy app from Google Play or theApp Store.

  5. Go to the app's side menu > My Devices > Select HomeBase > Device Info > Check for latest firmware to manually update HomeBase.

  6. After the firmware update, you should be able to add new sensors.

  7. If the above steps still can’t solve your issue, please contact our customer service team via the app: Help > Live Chat/Call Us/Feedback or send us an email to us.
