The One-Tap Migration feature is designed to provide a smooth transition for users purchasing the new HomeBase 3. With just a simple tap, you can quickly migrate all devices bound to your HomeBase 2, along with their corresponding video data, to your new HomeBase 3. This means no more manually unmounting and re-binding each device, your video and device configuration data are transferred in one fell swoop.

We recommend checking the compatibility list before proceeding with the migration to ensure a smooth experience.

To ensure the One-Tap Migration works flawlessly, there are a few requirements:

1. Both HomeBase 2 and HomeBase 3 must be on the same local area network (LAN) and connected via a wired connection to utilize the migration feature.

2. The HomeBase devices must remain powered and connected to the internet throughout the migration process. Any interruption in power or network connectivity could disrupt the transfer.

3. During the migration, your current devices will continue functioning normally, without affecting event triggers and recording. This means you can upgrade without missing a beat in your home security coverage.

How to Use the One-Tap Migration Feature:

1. Ensure that both your HomeBase 2 and HomeBase 3 are correctly set up and connected to the same network.

2. Open the app and go to HomeBase > HomePage > Paired Devices Page.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the process.

4. Once the process is complete, all your devices and data will be available on your new HomeBase 3.
