eufy Indoor Cam Mini 2K Failed to Record Events

If your eufy Indoor Cam Mini failed to record events, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.

Storage Methods

In order to save video recordings, eufy Indoor Cam Mini will need to have one of the following storage methods activated.

  • A Class-10 micro SD card (16GB to 128GB) inserted in the camera.
  • An active eufy cloud backup subscription.
  • An active Network Attached Storage (NAS).

Camera Settings

Please verify the following settings have been enabled and correctly configured for the camera to record events.

  • Privacy mode has been disabled: eufySecurity app > Devices tab > Camera Settings > Privacy Mode is turned off.
  • Camera’s motion detection types have been configured and a proper sensitivity level has been set: eufySecurity app > Devices tab > Camera Settings > Motion Detection.
  • Camera’s sound detection types have been configured and a proper sensitivity level has been set: eufySecurity app > Devices tab > Camera Settings > Sound Detection.
  • Camera’s working mode has been configured to record videos: eufySecurity app > Security tab > Home/Away mode > the Record Video checkbox has been selected.

Note: Please verify the camera is not in Disarmed mode as it will not detect or record any events.
