Why does eufy App use Android phone's location when setting up the smart lock?

Smart Lock S230, Smart Lock E130, Smart Lock C100

With the Android 6.0 or above version, eufy app requires your device’s general location to access BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices. This data will not be saved and is only used to establish a connection to your smart lock device.
