- Which brands of RTSP/NAS are supported?
A. The RTSP feature on the camera only works with NAS which supports the RTSP protocol.
B. Synology NAS is compatible with eufy Security. Regarding other brands, eufy has not tested its compatibility.
- Why did the test fail?
A. Please make sure your NAS storage device and camera are connected to the same Wi-Fi router.
B. Please make sure the camera has been set with a static IP address on your router.
C. Please check if you have entered the correct parameters.
D. Press the "Retry" button to set up the camera RTSP again.
- Why don't I have video clips after completing the test?
A. The video clips will be saved to your NAS if motion or sound is detected by the camera.
B. When you test the connection in NAS, only the live feed will work. The motion detection function will be disabled during connection testing.
C. It will take a few minutes for the system to upload clips to NAS. Please wait at least 5 minutes to check the clips in NAS after motion is detected.
D. There will be some video clips missing when NAS lost connection.
E. If your router IP address changes, the RTSP stream link will change as well. If this occurs, follow the RTSP setup guide to reconfigure the parameters.
- Why do I frequently have the message in the NAS that displays "Connection recovered" and "Connection lost"?
This is a normal occurrence. You can ignore these messages. "Connection recovered" means motion detection video clips will start to be saved to NAS. "Connection lost" means video clips have been saved to NAS.
