What is the difference between "Family & Guest" and "Manage Access" features?

The purpose of the “Family & Guest” and “Manage Access” features in the eufy app is designed to provide the owner of the lock with convenient ways of securely managing the device.

Family & Guest

This feature is used by the owner of the C210 Smart lock to grant authorized access to family members and friends.

• Admin permission:
  • User can unlock and lock the door via the eufy app.
  • User can access and configure the Smart Lock’s settings.
  • User can access and configure the Manage Access feature.
• Guest permission: 
  • User can only unlock and lock the door via the eufy Security app.

Manage Access 

This feature is used by the owner and authorized users with admin permission to manage the local access of the C210 Smart lock.

• Create a new user profile that includes the following information:
  • Create a designated passcode.
  • Enroll the user’s fingerprint.
  • Customize a schedule for the user to be able to access the C210 Smart lock to unlock and lock the door.
• Delete an existing user profile.
