Google Assistant Setup Guide for eufySecurity Devices

Connecting eufySecurity device with Google Home is a simple process. To accomplish this, you’ll need to add eufySecurity devices to Google Home App. Once this is finished, you’ll be able to use a variety of Google Assistant-enabled devices with your eufySecurity devices. 


Link Google Assistant with your eufySecurity Account

1. Set up your device with your eufySecurity app

2. Open the Google Home app on your phone.

3. Click the portrait icon in the top right of your screen.

4. Tap on Google Assistant settings.

5. At the top left, tap Security -> Add Device -> Scan QR code or Security -> Add Device -> Search Device.

6. Search for eufySecurity.

7. Enter your eufySecurity account name and password.

8. Enter your Google PIN code.

9. Google authorization complete.

10. Go back to the homepage.

11. Select the rooms where your devices will be active.

Disconnect devices from the Google Home app

1. Open the Google Home app.

2. Tap your device > Settings > Remove device > Remove.

When you remove a device from a home:

  • It will disconnect the device from members in the home.
  • It will be unlinked from your Google Account.
  • Data associated with this device, such as video history, will be deleted. Note: Some basic device data may remain associated with the home.

Control the Device

Please try out some commands. Use the camera name that you created when you set up the system. For example:

  • “Ok Google, show me the front yard on btv.”
  •  “Ok Google, show me the garage camera on the living room TV.”
  • “Ok Google, stop.”
