We have a brick wall. How do I mount my eufy Video Doorbell Dual?
The Video Doorbell Dual can be easily mounted. The doorbell comes with a mounting bracket and you can install the mounting bracket with the included screws and anchors. Please make sure to first set up the doorbell using the eufy app on your phone so you can view if your doorbell camera is showing you the area that you want to cover.
What is the maximum distance between the doorbell and the Homebase?
Usually, the Homebase can be placed at 20-30ft away from the doorbell. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors, such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of the router.
How far can the HomeBase be placed from the router?
In theory, the HomeBase can be placed at about 50ft way from the Wi-Fi router. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors, such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of the router.
I lost the detaching pin (quick release tool) after the setup process, how do I replace it?
You can order a replacement on the eufy website.
Will the Video Doorbell Dual comes with 3M double-sided tape? (I am not allowed to drill holes on the wall)
Sorry, 3M double-sided tape is not included in the package. We also do not recommend using double-sided tape to install the doorbell.
Can Video Doorbell Dual be installed horizontally? Can the video rotate 90 degrees?
No, the doorbell cannot be installed horizontally.
Does eufy offer a mounting wedge that is more than 15°
Sorry, we do not have a larger angle of mounting wedge. There is only one 15° mounting wedge within the package. However, you can purchase another 15° mounting wedge by contacting eufy customer service. With both mounting wedges stacked, the doorbell can pan at a total of a 30° angle, but you need to find longer screws to mount the Mounting Bracket to the wall.
Can the battery inside the Video Doorbell Dual be replaced?
Sorry, the battery cannot be replaced. You can detach the doorbell from the doorbell/wall and charge it via the USB cable provided. We do not sell separate batteries.
Can I hard-wire the Video Doorbell Dual?
Yes. The Video Doorbell Dual can be hardwired to existing doorbell wires for continuous charging. Please make sure the voltage is 8-24V AC, 10VA, or above.
Can I purchase a power adapter to charge the doorbell constantly?
Yes, the power adapters for Video Doorbell Dual on Amazon usually work. Here is a list of compatible power adapters: 24V/500mA, 18V/500mA, 16V/800mA.

I have a USB behind the doorbell on the outside of the house. Can I leave the USB plugged into the doorbell so I don't have to take it down to charge?
For continuous charging, please make sure that the USB port can provide stable voltage, such as 5V/1A. Otherwise, the doorbell might discharge quicker than it is able to recharge due to frequent motion detection.
Is there any indication that the doorbell is charging?
