Failed To Update HomeBase

Modified on Wed, 10 Dec at 11:23 AM

Applicable to:

eufyCam 2C Pro, eufyCam 2C, S330 eufyCam(eufyCam 3), S300 eufyCam(eufyCam 3C), eufyCam 2 Pro, eufyCam E330 (Professional), eufyCam 2, eufyCam

If the HomeBase failed to be updated, please try the following steps:

1. Please check if the HomeBase status LED is Blue

  • If yes, restart the HomeBase by unplugging and plugging the power adapter cable.
  • Then try again the update process or update the firmware on the menu: HomeBase Settings > General > About Device > Check for the firmware update.

2. If the status LED is Red, please wait for about 5 minutes. It’s maybe restarting after the firmware update. If it’s still red 5 minutes later, check if the ethernet cable is inserted correctly and if your router has internet access.

3. If the status LED is Red and Blue alternately flashing, it means HomeBase is updating. Please wait about 10 minutes to check the device status again.
