To better understand, operate, maintain, and obtain the latest product services and information, please download the eufy Clean app on your smartphone to connect your phone to your MACH V1 series.
Please refer to the following video instructions on how to connect your MACH V1 series using the eufy Clean app.
For iOS devices:
For Android devices:
Please try the troubleshooting steps below if you encounter any Wi-Fi connection issues with your MACH V1 series during the setup process:
- Make sure your smartphone's Bluetooth and the Bluetooth permission for the eufy Clean app are both turned on.
- Make sure the location permission for the eufy Clean app is allowed. If there is a "precise location" option, please also turn it on. (The precise location permission can be turned off after successfully setting up your MACH V1 series on the eufy Clean app)
* For iOS: Settings > Privacy > Location > Allow location for the eufy Clean APP
* For Android: Settings > Permissions & Privacy > Open Location, then go back to Settings > APPs > Permissions > Find the eufy Clean APP > Allow location.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi network name and password are correct (note: passwords are case-sensitive). Please also try moving your smartphone and the MACH vacuum cleaner closer to your router and make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network before starting the setup process. If you are using a dual-band router, please try disabling the 5GHz network during the setup process.
- After turning on Bluetooth on your smartphone, the eufy Clean app will automatically search for a nearby MACH vacuum cleaner to be connected. If the MACH vacuum cleaner cannot be discovered by the app, please reset the MACH vacuum cleaner's by pressing and holding the mode button to enter the settings menu. Next, go to "Network" settings and select "Reset Wi-Fi". Please then try to add the vacuum cleaner again on your smartphone.
Note: Check whether the Wi-Fi encryption protocol of your router is WPA2. If it is WPA3, please switch it to WPA2 by going to the router's management interface.
- In order to verify if the issue is caused by the MACH vacuum cleaner or Wi-Fi router, you can try connecting the MACH vacuum cleaner to a different Wi-Fi network. If no other Wi-Fi networks are available, please enable a phone’s hotspot and then connect the vacuum to the hotspot’s Wi-Fi via the eufy Clean app installed on another phone/tablet.
