- Remove the battery cover with a standard screwdriver.
- Insert (1) AAA battery into the slot, negative (-) side first. Batteries included.
- Extend the probe until the display screen turns on.
- Press the [°F/°C] button to select the desired temperature scale.
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.
- The device will enter sleep mode after 30 seconds of inactivity. To wake the device, simply move it.
*A low battery icon will appear on the display when the battery voltage drops below 1V. Change the battery if the display won't turn on.
