What's needed to charge your sensors:
- The Playermaker 2.0 case
- Left and right sensors
- USB-C charging cable
NOTE: The Playermaker 2.0 case functions as a holding place for the sensors and does not charge them on its own. The only way to charge your sensors is by plugging the charging cable into the bottom of the case and into a power source.
How to charge your sensors:
- Place both sensors inside the Playermaker 2.0 case.
- Plug the charging cable into the bottom of the case and into a power source.
- Check that your sensors' lights are shining a solid color (green / orange / red).
- A solid color (light) indicates that your sensors are charging successfully.
- A blinking color or no color (light) indicates that your sensors are not charging successfully.
Charging facts, tips, and recommendations:
- Charge your sensors after each performed activity.
- It takes approximately 3-4 hours to fully charge your sensors from zero battery.
- The minimum battery life required to start and record a session is ≥ 20%. A 20% battery life allows you to record up to 4 hours of activity. Read this article to see where you can view your sensors' battery status on the app.
- Charging your sensors for an extended period of time (a few days) will not affect your sensors' battery performance or short-circuit your battery.
- Sensors that are charging successfully flash a solid color.
- When your case is not plugged into the charger, then your sensors will go into rest mode and not flash any light (to preserve battery life).
- If your sensors die while you are performing an activity, then your session data will be permanently deleted.
- The Playermaker 2.0 sensors' operating temperature ranges between 0-40 degrees Celsius (32-100 Fahrenheit). Operating in temperatures outside this range might affect the battery's performance.
